  Dance and percussion workshops are offered to:

  Our dance program offers folkloric dances from Puerto Rico,Cuba, Haiti, Brazil, Mexico and Africa; as well as Jazz,  

  Modern Dance and Hip-Hop. In addition, we offer contemporary Latin dances, such as Salsa, Mambo, Cha-cha-cha

  and Merengue.

  Our music program offers Bomba and Plena rhythms from Puerto Rico, religious and secular music from Cuba and Haiti,

  as well as popular salsa rythms, and the use of various percussion instruments.


  Our Arts in Education programs range from informal to highly technical and formal presentations in which audiences of all 

  ages and backgrounds are introduced to history, tradition, and participate actively in the performance of traditional African  

  and African-based rhythms, music and dances from Latin America, and the Caribbean.

  In dance, we offer folkloric dances from Puerto Rico, Cuba, Haiti, Brazil, Mexico and Africa; as well as Jazz, Modern Dance,

  and Hip-hop. In addition, we offer contemporary Cha-cha-cha and Merengue.

  In music, we offer Bomba and Plena rythms from Puerto Rico, religious and secular music from Cuba and Haiti; as well as

  All of our One World Arts programs are specially designed for traveling. You can choose to combine a long term residency  

  and/or a single presentation from the various programs we offer. We can design a program appropriate for any audience 

  and/or age group; children, teens, adults, senior citizens, intergenerational and professionals, at any level of proficiency.

  Autism and Special Needs Workshops and Residencies

  A specialized program is designed according to the needs of the students and teachers for grades K-12.

  Staff Development

  Our skilled and experienced artists at One World Arts, can teach educators and other professionals how to integrate  

  cultural   and creative expressions into their work; with the purpose of enhancing educational, emotional, social and  

  cognitive skills. We can also assist professionals in the design of culturally competent programs and curricula, to celebrate

  the diversity and commonalities of cultures and nationalities.
